Bosses coming?
You'll know first.
Boss reminders for guild friends. When you open the map in the game, the boss times are shared with the whole guild, and what others see is shared with you.

Just press Download on the right; nothing to type here.
Open the program and log in to your character: it sends an access request by itself, and works once the admin approves.
Not approved yet? Tell the guild admin your character name; once approved, the program unlocks by itself.
After downloading, follow "First use" below.
What it does

Reminds you in time
Before bosses spawn and before the mini-game, Dimension Raid, rifts and battles start, a gold reminder pops up with a chime.

Boss times shared by everyone
When anyone opens a map in the game, that map's boss times are shared with everyone on the same server.

Sorted by spawn time
Bosses spawning within 1 hour are listed in order with a countdown to the second; killed ones disappear and the next one moves up.
Screens
The reminder window sits on top of the game; drag it wherever you like.
Normal view
The top bar is "黑人提醒您!!"; below are the bosses spawning within 1 hour. 0 means it has spawned; killed ones disappear. Abyss bosses are marked "Abyss".
The small tag before a name shows how often that boss spawns:
When time is near
A gold reminder pops up with a chime and turns orange when the time comes. After a rift opens, it counts down the 10-minute entry time until the portal closes.
Press "List" to see all
How long until each boss spawns and where. Click a row to turn its reminder on or off (a crossed bell means off).

Mini-game, rifts and battles; the next one is on top.
Abyss Corridor (purple box)
When our side holds artifacts, it shows the corridors you haven't run yet. The character is named at the top; other characters with runs left are listed below.
First use (only once)

Install Npcap (free, required)
Go to npcap.com, download "Npcap installer", open it and keep pressing "Next" with the default options.

Set the game to windowed
In AION2, choose "Borderless window" or "Windowed" so the reminders show on top of the game.

Download, unzip, open
Use "Download" above, unzip the file to your desktop, and open AION2-Meter.exe in the folder.
If Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen: press "More info", then "Run anyway".

Log in to your character
Open the game and log in to your character — nothing to type. The program sends an access request by itself (already in game: change map once). Once the admin approves it, it looks like the screens above. One ID works on one PC. The "English" button at the top right switches the program to English.
For accurate boss times: open the map in the game for 1-2 seconds; that map's boss times update and are shared with everyone.
Everyday use
Buttons and controls
- List
- Today's events, Abyss bosses, boss timers (pick All, Rift, or a map at the top).
- Keys
- The line at the game's top-right: how many keys you have. Drag it anywhere (it stays put on any resolution; the Abyss has its own spot); click it for refill times.
- ⋯
- Settings: what to remind, sound, how early, size, language.
- ✕
- Close the program (asks first). When closed, there are no reminders and no boss-time sharing.
- Drag
- Move it anywhere; the position is remembered.
- Tray icon
- Click the icon at the bottom right to show/hide; right-click for a menu (Help, Folder, Exit).
- Damage meter
- To see the damage meter: ⋯ (Settings) → Meter → Open the damage meter.
When there is a new version
- A "New version" line appears at the top; press Download page to come back here.
- Press Download.
- Close the old program first (✕ → Close program).
- Drag the new AION2-Meter.exe into the old folder to replace it, then open it. Your settings are kept.
FAQ
It says "Npcap not found"
Install Npcap first (step 1 of First use), then reopen the program.
Reminders don't show on top of the game
Use "Borderless window" or "Windowed" in the game. In full screen the game covers the reminders.
Boss times are wrong or empty
Open that map in the game for 1-2 seconds; it updates and is shared with everyone.
Windows warns about a risk and won't open it
This program is made by a player and has no paid digital signature, so Windows warns once. Press "More info", then "Run anyway".
It keeps saying "Waiting for the admin"
The program already sent your request when you logged in to your character. Tell the guild admin. Approval only works while that character is logged in (so nobody else can take your ID).
It says my ID is bound to another PC
One ID works on one PC. If you changed PCs, ask the admin to press "Unbind", then log in to your character again.
Where are the fight logs?
Go to the Fight logs website to see everyone's fights, look up characters and see rankings (no login needed). To see only yours, press "Log in" at the top right and enter your game ID or key.
I use a VPN or an accelerator (ExitLag)
Normal VPNs usually work. If the meter shows no numbers on a training dummy, send the file %APPDATA%\AION2Meter\meter.log to the admin.
